Desmond Hazzard

Biography
Desmond Hazzard spent one season as an assistant coach for Dodge City CC men's basketball. He joined the Conquistadors eager to continue to grow is coaching experience and comes in with some experience on the sideline while in college.
Mr. Hazzard started to focus on his coaching career his senior year of high school at Tenoroc High School in Lakeland, Florida as he became a team manager his final year of high school after playing the previous three. Upon graduation he attended Florida International University where he became a student/team manager and later went on to become a Graduate Assistant for the FIU Panthers. As a grad assistant, Desmond assisted in coaching, scouting, player development, video breakdown, and basketball operations.
He also had a brief stint in Tampa Bay with the Tampa Bay Titans, a professional basketball team in "The Basketball League" (TBL). He served as Assistant Coach of Player Development and Scouting with the Titans.
More recently, Mr. Hazzard has been named General Manager of the Wesley Chapel Kings, a professional basketball organization in the Tampa Bay Area, competing in the newly founded and established league called the GBA (Global Basketball Association); which is a league with purpose, focused on building careers, impacting lives, inspiring communities, and empowering players and fans alike.
