  • Offensive Leadership: Jones effectively sets the offensive pace, utilizing his vision and timing to facilitate plays. His passing ability was highlighted in a game against Purdue, where he recorded a triple-double with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.

  • Ball Handling: He is an efficient dribbler, minimizing turnovers while facilitating the offense. This skill contributes to his role as a primary ball handler and playmaker.

  • Finishing Ability: Jones uses his wingspan to finish above defenders and is adept at scoring with both hands around the basket. His versatility in finishing makes him a consistent scoring threat.

  • Scoring Prowess: Known for scoring in bunches, Jones has the confidence to take over games. He scored 32 points in the season opener against Stony Brook, showcasing his ability to lead the team's offense.

  • Over-Dribbling: At times, Jones can dribble excessively, which may disrupt the offensive flow and lead to contested shots.

  • Shot Selection: He occasionally settles for poor shot choices, impacting his shooting efficiency. Improving decision-making in shot selection could enhance his overall effectiveness.

  • Inconsistent Three-Point Shooting: Jones is a streaky three-point shooter, with fluctuations in his shooting percentage. While he has high confidence, developing a more consistent three-point shot would add a significant dimension to his game.

  • Size and Wingspan: Standing at 6’5” with a solid frame, Jones uses his wingspan effectively to finish above defenders and contest shots.

  • Agility: Demonstrates strong lateral quickness, enabling him to navigate defensive coverage and finish at the rim.

  • Endurance: Maintains a high energy level throughout games, contributing on both ends of the floor.

  • Strength: While not overly muscular, he holds his own against physical defenders and absorbs contact well when driving to the basket.

  • On-Ball Defense: An active defender who uses his quickness to stay in front of ball handlers.

  • Off-Ball Awareness: Occasionally loses focus on defensive rotations but can recover with effort and athleticism.

  • Rebounding: Averaging 5.6 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season, showing improvement in crashing the boards, particularly on the defensive glass.

  • Defensive Potential: Uses his wingspan to contest shots but could further develop into a more consistent defender with improved discipline.

  • Three-Point Shooting: A streaky shooter from beyond the arc, averaging 46.2% so far in the 2024-25 season, but with notable fluctuations game-to-game.

  • Mid-Range Game: Comfortable pulling up off the dribble, adding versatility to his scoring arsenal.

  • Free-Throw Shooting: Reliable at the line, often converting under pressure situations.

  • Mechanics: Smooth and consistent shooting form with a quick release, though he sometimes settles for low-percentage attempts.

Kam has truly made a name for himself ever since Big East Conference play began, and is making a real good case for Big East Player of the Year. This makes him extremely volatile, as 6'5" could deter some teams from taking a flyer on him, however there are a few teams that could use a spark of his caliber to develop. I can imagine a path similar to Tyrese Maxey, being a mid-late first round, and getting a true opportunity 1-2 years down the line and shining.

Potential Desinations:

#21 Memphis (Pick up the Marcus Smart role?)
#23 Brooklyn (Could have a very similar path to Cam Thomas's first couple of years?)
#26 Utah (Could compete with Collier for a solidified spot in the rotation.)
